Vintage Red Camel Sanforized Twill Overalls Coveralls Engineer 42L NEW W TAGS

Description

This is a vintage new old stock of Red Camel Sanforized coveralls with original paper tag. Size 42 long. These were stored folded for many years. So there is some fading on chest and at creases near knees. Heavy 10 ounce twill construction with wide, pronounced stripe. Much like the railroad engineers wore. I’m not a vintage denim expert, but I’m guessing maybe 1940s to 1950s era. My son who (not so willingly) volunteered to be my model is 6 feet, 4 inches tall. The length seems to fit him perfectly. He is, however, much thinner than a 42. No returns. Examine photos closely.
